1940s Ink Blotters for sale
A Vintage 1940s Advertising Ink Blotter featuring Staubs Cleaners in Rochester New York. The vintage blotter is the Staubs Cleaners Sterling Cleaners Economy Division of Staub's. The advertising ink blotter is a nice color blotter with a picture of the cleaners on the front, with the address of the plant and drive in on East Main Street across from the Armory, and the addresses of the branch stores on East Avenue and Monroe Avenue. It lists the phone number as Monroee 6600 and has Routeman who serves your Neighbor presented by with the name Bob Fulmer stamped on that line. On the lower right hand corner it has D-9177. There are no dates on the ink blotter but it appears to be from the 1940s or so. This vintage blotter has a pink backing and measures apprx 6" X 3 1/2" in size.

A vintage 1940s Advertising Ink Blotter featuring P C Herwig Co Square Knot Headquarters in Brooklyn New York. The ink blotter has a color type picture on the left side and the advertising on the right side. It has Cord Handicraft Square Knotting Belts, Purses, Dog Leashes etc. And how to order a catalog from the company. The vintage ink blotter has PC Herwig Co Square Knot Headquarters 121 Sands Street Dept X Brooklyn 1 NY, Telephone TRiangle 5-6653. On the bottom it has Borda Church Mexico Noel Leaver and a small writeup about the picture on the left side of the blotter. And it has 36848 Brown & Bigelow St Paul Minn Printed in USA. The ink blotter has a nice blue backing and is unused. The ink blotter measures apprx 6" X 3 1/4" in size.

The ink blotter is in excellent condition with no rips, and no creases. It does show alittle age wear on the front edges and some cornerwear and there is some residue on the back and some ink possibly its tough to tell, but it didnt go through to the front and it has a blue backing, overall its very nice.
