A WWII US Army 1942 Linen Postcard featuring Parachute Troops Landing and Taking Position at Fort Benning Georgia. The card is a nice linen postcard with nice color, it has Paratroopers landing on the ground and getting ready for battle, on the front upper left side it has Parachute Troops Landing and Taking Position for Firing, Fort Benning Georgia-39. The card is by the E C Kropp Postcard Co and is used. It has a postmark of May 28, 1942 mailed from Fort Benning Ga to Rochester NY and has Free written where the Stamp would go. It is in excellent condition, with no rips, and no creases. There is some minor cornerwear and a small minor lower right corner ding and the postmark bled through to the front. Very framable or good for matting or display. Nice piece of military history. Shipping and handling is estimated to be apprx $1.05 first class mail or 3.85 Priority Mail for the United States and Canada, depending on location. The actual shipping and handling will show up during the checkout process for any location worldwide. Thanks for stopping by.
