A WWII US Army 1942 Linen Postcard featuring Soldier Presenting Color at Camp Smith Peekskill New York. The card is a nice linen postcard with nice color, it has the Soldier on the field presenting the flags, on the front upper left side it has Presenting Colors, and on the upper middle Greetings from Camp Smith Peekskill NY and on the upper right front it has M9. The card is by the Tichnor Quality Views Postcard Co with Military Series 20 subjects on the back and is used. It has a postmark of Sep 8, 1942 mailed from Peekskill NY to Rochester NY and has a green one cent Industry Agriculture for Defense Stamp on it. It is in excellent condition, with no rips, and no creases. There is some minor corner wear and great color, there is also some edge wear and the postmark bled through to the front. Very framable or good for matting or display. Nice piece of military history.
