The blotter has advertising for the company with a writeup and a life insurance rates chart based on age and income on the right side, and Life 743-150M-3-49 on the left side, which seems to be the printing information with 3-49 for March 1949. It has clear back and is unused. The blotter measures apprx 8" X 3 3/4" in size. The ink blotter is in excellent condition with no rips, no writing, and no creases. It does show alittle age wear on the front edges and some cornerwear, its nice overall.
